The program’s overarching goals include providing a thorough and accurate understanding of the challenges facing the process of political reform and democratic transition in the region, deepening the values of citizenship and human rights, and strengthening the concept of media freedom. It also aims to expand citizens’ political participation, promote freedom of the press and the independence of the media, and advance the “right to know” and public information access.

Media Training Department:

Through this program, we work on preparing research, studies, reports, and policy papers, conducting exploratory and survey studies, and establishing press freedom observatories in each country.

Media Training Department works with a variety of international research institutions to help people sharpen their skills, inspire their imaginations, and keep up with the ever-accelerating pace of technological change in the realms of media, knowledge, and communication. We achieve this through providing exceptional training in the effective application of media technology and monitoring the upkeep of its modernity. The motivation for this is to ensure that the trainee graduates with the level of expertise necessary to make a significant impact in his chosen profession.

The goal of AWRAQ Media’s specialized, creative, and distinct training programs, organized within integrated courses, is to guide trainees to outstanding professional performance in the media industry. These programs are made available to media professionals, interested parties, relevant departments and institutions, TV channels, and satellite channels.
